1. Agreement

By accessing gaugersshare.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Gaugers Share Limited is registered in Scotland.

2. Age Verification — 18+

You must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the recipient of the delivery is also 18 or over.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at the point of delivery. Deliveries will not be made to anyone who cannot prove they are 18 or over. This is a legal requirement. It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18.

3. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order, including where:

• A product is no longer available.
• A pricing error has occurred on our website.
• We are unable to verify the delivery address or age.
• Payment is declined or cannot be verified.

We are a small independent bottler and all our products are limited in quantity. Products may sell out between you adding them to your cart and completing checkout.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.

Payment is taken at the time of order. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We do not store your card details.

If a pricing error is discovered after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer the correct price or a full refund.

5. Delivery

We deliver to mainland UK addresses. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details including timescales, surcharges for Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, and our adult signature requirement.

Risk in goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment.

6. Returns and Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK distance selling rules). Please see our Returns Policy for the full process.

We cannot accept returns of alcohol that has been opened or consumed.

7. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to describe our products accurately. Whisky characteristics may vary naturally between bottles of the same cask. Tasting notes are advisory; individual perception varies.

Product images are illustrative. Actual bottle labels and packaging may differ slightly from those shown.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, brand name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Gaugers Share Limited. You may not reproduce, redistribute or use it commercially without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or products is limited to the purchase price of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
